BERLIN – German police say an American got so fed up with the constant mosquito-like droning from his neighbors' vuvuzela plastic horns that he threatened to kill them with an ax.

Police in the Bavarian city of Weiden said Friday the 45-year-old man confronted his neighbors during Thursday's Netherlands-Cameroon World Cup game wielding the ax.

If this happened stateside, and I was sitting on the grand jury of the accused, I would be slightly tempted to no-bill the guy...

I would have made it spectacular.

Dress up like a Klingon, go over with the ax and announce...”It is a good day to die”.

What's even worse is that YouTube has added a little 'soccer ball' icon underneath videos, and when you click on it all you hear is that annoying buzz buzz buzz of the frickin' vesuios horns (or whatever the heck it's speeled!) ... YIKES!!!

This is NOT the way to help promote Soccer in the USA! /laughs

Here is a load of BS from the article...

The trumpets were first produced and marketed in 2001 by South African Neil Van Schalkwyk, who still owns the rights to the vuvuzela name.

We had these as kids back in the 60's. Invented them in 2001 my you know what. Are their any reporters out there that actually know anything.

And it aint called a vuvuzela. It is a plasic horn.

We used to try to throw snowballs with them.

Yet another reason soccer is hands down the most annoying and inane sport in the world. I also heard soccer translates to "too fragile to play real football".

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

I suggest, for the Usurper’s next public appearance, we show him how much we “luv” him:

I would love to see the senators walking in with the vuvuzulas in hand as they go to hear the Lord of the Flies speak.

LOL Those are an annoying kids toys we all had as kids no one “invented” them in 2001! You know I think my Mom actually took that thing from me and stomped it to death a few days after I was given one? Horrible horrible things.
