You don’t think this is a rather big assumption on your part. It seems to me that there have been at least two DIFFERENT COLBs posted, and that both have been adjudged phony by at least some people with fancy analysis that I sometimes have trouble following.

Which of the different COLBs would Hawaii send to me?

And why would Obama not let anyone obtain a certified copy of something he has already shown to everybody? Certainly he has nothing to hide in this regard. Certainly.

There is no assumption on my part. Don’t you think that the internet would be flooded with long form Certificates of Live Birth recently ordered from the Hawaii Department of Health by folks who are anti-Obama if that were possible?
There is only one COLB that Hawaii could send and that’s the one which says that a child named Barack Hussein Obama was born at 7:24 p.m. on August 4, 1961 in the City of Honolulu, in the County of Honolulu, on the Island of Oahu, in the state of Hawaii.
That is the information that has been confirmed by the state of Hawaii and that is the only information on any birth document that is relevant to being eligible to assume the presidency.

“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record.
“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.
“No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai‘i.”
