Oh yeah! As a great tagline I saw here once said,
"If you don't want people to get your goat, don't tell them where it's tied."

Have you by chance read Margaret Visser's Much Depends on Dinner? It is a great book that I heartily recommend, dealing with capsule histories of some of our favorite foods. One of them discussed is corn and what's happened to it in the USA over the past century. Fascinating read!

Hey now!! Don’t be hatin’ on me!
Do you also despise “Edmund Fitzgerald”? The song makes me want to kick puppies.

From the article you linked.
He said his next target is the largest known missing ship: the car ferry Pere Marquette 18. He said it went down in 1910, about 20 miles from the southeastern Wisconsin shore.
That would be something to see.

More info
Disaster on the Lakethe sinking of Pere Marquette 18 The only loss of a Pere Marquette Railroad ferry occurred in 1910. The Pere Marquette 18 was headed to Milwaukee with a load of 29 railcars. There were very heavy seas and the ferry radioed for assistance saying that she was taking on water.
The Pere Marquette 17 was a few miles away and promptly responded. However as the Pere Marquette 17 pulled alongside the 19 took on a great deal of water and quickly sank.
Twenty-five survivors were rescued, but twenty-eight people died, including two crew members of the Pere Marquette 17, who were crushed when their lifeboat crashed alongside the 17.
