Here’s her wiki page:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Antoinette,_Baroness_of_Massy
I don’t know how to put this, but I think it’s because Grace was so obsessed with image and looking like the perfect mother, that it likely messed up her kids pretty badly. This is why I am leery about people who act for a living. She wanted to be known as the ‘perfect mother’ and worried about her image all the time, while whining about her life.
“Are any of the children of his sisters legitimate?”
I think her children by her royal husbands are and those of Stefano’s. I think Caroline is a completely hypocrite.
“They all have turned out to be a disapointment”
Grace didn’t discipline any of them. She spoiled them and let them run their own lives as children. I mean, they lived in a huge palace, in the wealthiest country on earth, and lived near Paris and all the enjoyments that it had to offer. But then, like most actresses, Grace lived in a fairytale.
goes to show you it doesnt matter how nice a guy you are, how good looking a guy you are, or how sensitive guy you are
as long as you have money you can have a hot woman at your side
My goodness — Antoinette was a true crazy aunt in the attic. No wonder Grace had problems in Monaco. It’s a shame, however, how libertine her children turned out. Methinks they would have fared better had they been raised in Philadelphia.
...let him out before he suffocates...
That’s it!
I’m afraid to ask.
I thought the line of succession in Monoco, for it to retain its principality, had to be from son to son. IIRC, the principality status ended if there were no male heirs?
Charlene is very beautiful in her own right. It will be fun to watch the wedding. I remember when Grace Kelly married Prince Ranier it was the biggest story and every little girl in the US wanted to be Grace Kelly.
Princess Antoinette ius the sister of Albert’s late father, Prince Ranier.
She’s beautiful.
Him...
not so much...
Caroline’s first marriage to playboy Philippe Junot was annuled. Her second marriage to Stefano Casiraghi, an Italian “businessman”, ended with his untimely death in a suspicious boating accident They had two boys. Andrea and Pierre. She then took up with French actor Vincent Lyndon, then married the very rich, divorced, and very dissipated and drunk, Prince Ernst August of Hanover. He dumped her for a younger model, but they are not divorced. They have one daughter.
Stephanie married her trainer, then divorced him and took up with a circus performer. She jad children with a few different men, some legitimate, ssome illig.
Eumpr has it that the two illigiti, ate children of Albert’s were a cover story to make him appear more manly.Unmarried at 52 is not the greatest recommendation.
FWIW Charlene is Protestant and must convert to RC to marry Albert.
Check out the cleavage.
Just wants to get it right the first time, unlike his sisters.
Thanks for the ping. In one of the photos up above on the thread she looks a lot like Prince Harry’s South African girlfriend although a bit older of course!
I must say that HRH Prince Albert II does NOT look to be 50-something... Must be all that money, and no stress that keeps them looking young.
what a gorgeous couple.. as were his parents..
and yes on ring.. I am surprised she doesn’t need a sling to protect her elbow from injury!
I had the opportunity to meet the prince and one of his Philadelphia cousins a few years ago at a camp reunion event. He was very nice, somewhat shy, and occasionally stuttered. I enjoyed meeting him.
I don't care for the fact that he created out-of-wedlock children, and I don't think there should have been a lot of fuss over whether he'd support them. It seems to me these things could have been dealt with privately. Still, his private life seems less chaotic than either of his sisters.
I wish him and Charlene all happiness.
Imagine -- an Olympic swimmer with "toned arms" who manages NOT to look like a linebacker! How does she do it?
