Mark Levin did an analysis of the Rolling Stone article and could not find direct quotes by McChrystal - only *sources report* and *he (McChrystal) appeared to be....*
Very astute observations by the Great One.

Naw, he's got a track record of bad choice of friends. First he's Obama's buddy, then he's sucking up to the Rolling Stone.
Did he imagine any good could come of that?
It's totally delusional.

Id say the odds are that Obama will accept it.

Your post should be its own thread:
“Mark Levin did an analysis of the Rolling Stone article and could not find direct quotes by McChrystal - only *sources report* and *he (McChrystal) appeared to be....*”

If he wanted to fall on his sword, he could have resigned OVER POLICY!
Now he merely offers his resignation for stupidity. That achieves NOTHING!

I know people who came from countries where the army picks the president. It really sucks. As bad as the current system is, it could be a lot worse.

I’m still trying to figure out why the General spoke to RollingStone and thought something good would come of it.

Furthermore, with a history of far Left reporting, there is NO EVIDENCE Hastings is telling the truth. Does anyone at MSNBC, after all? Media Matters? Etc.?

Actually I heard Col North say in an interview today that this reporter was in Afgahanistan when he was there on his last visit.
They allowed the guy access to headquarters.
I think they let their guard down and felt comfortable talking amongst themselves about the administration.
Really bad judgment, know your enemy, and Rolling Stone Magazine is not a friend of the military.

M. Levin also slammed Joe Klein’s (hack journalism) as well as the lefty Rolling Stone.
I will read the RS article to verify all the points that ML made - but listening to his radio show - he was quoting verbatim.

"He voted for Obama WTF I missed that. I thought the only stupid thing he did was Talk to a RS reporter"
As a military man - his choice was Obama o McCain. Looking back at McCain's record with the MIAs, etc.. He may have decided that Obama was the lesser of two evils, in this case.
Many others did the same thing. They all mostly regret it now & I think the General does too.
He gave Obama the chance & found that Obama is a zero - so resignation may be his option at this point.

It does seem like a poor choice.
