heh heh heh...yeah calcowgirl...he REALLY got you on that “stuned” thing...

A little longevity goes a long way at FR.

In it's absence, I believe in that wise old saying:

"Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Heck, my beeber is smarter than this troll!

No offense Danny — you’ve been here 2 days, and posted two vanity threads about YOU being a “true Conservative.” So, WHO are you trying to convince?!

Great — we get you oppose SB1070. On that you are in “good” company. You agree with John McCain, Lindsey Grahamnesty, even President Barack Hussein Obama (Mmm, Mmm, Mmm!).

I get that you’re “Conservative on all the other issues. On the issue of illegal immigration, might I humbly suggest that you are NOT Conservative? If you don’t LIKE the tag “Liberal” on that one issue, how about “misled?” No? Perhaps “One who aids and abets illegal immigration?” Again, you’d be in FINE company among those in our political system...

I’m sure you will find MANY of the discussions in the threads here at FR refreshing, fun, challenging and thought provoking. You MIGHT not want to post vanity threads (like this one) and hold yourself up as a “true Conservative” when you tout your disagreement with MOST other Conservatives on something as essential and important as the Rule of law and the Constitutional enforcement of our borders against illegals who encroach upon them by the millions. It tends to DRAW flamings from many of us here who loook upon such obvious provocations as DU Trolls sent to wreck havoc in our midst...

Take it for what it’s worth. Best of luck to you here at FR....

“SB1070 is one of the very few mistakes Republicans have made.”

You keep saying you don’t like it and it is a mistake; however, you cannot defend this position with facts.

Illegal immigration depresses pay! It eats up vital financial resources from the city all the way up to federal levels! ALL illegal immigration is a NET LOSS for regular taxpaying Americans (natural or naturalized [that’s LEGAL immigration]), so this is a GOOD bill.

More importantly, SB1070 simply reinforces existing federal law! Please tell me how reinforcing the EXISTING law is bad?

Illegal immigration takes jobs away from Americans and legal immigrants.

Legal immigration is A-OK.

A guest worker, documented guest worker, is A-OK.

(We have a guest worker in the White House, but he is undocumented as he has been unwilling to produce a Long Form Birth Certificate).

Illegal immigration makes for unfair competition and hurts legitimate business.

You must not have read FR for the part 2 years if you thought a thread was going to change our stance on this. It’s the main reason most of us don’t think Lindsey Graham should be a senator.

?You are wrong. SB1070 is one of the very few mistakes Republicans have made.

Have you read SB1070, as amended? I doubt it. It mirrors federal immigration law and is less onerous thatn California's anti-illegal immigration statutes.

SB1070, as amended, allows Arizona to enforce the provisions found in federal law that prohibit illegal immigration.

I'm curious, Danny. Is your last name Hernandez? Hererra? Hidalgo? Hispanic? Because, when you look at it closely, it is the Hispanic enabling groups in the U.S. (LaRaza, MeCHA, MALDEF) who are the most vocally opposed to the law. And that is because they can't afford any sort of set-back in their agenda of taking over the American Southwest.

You're entitled to your own opinion regarding our law, but you aren't entitled to your own facts. Sorry, amigo. You're flat-out wrong. It is not the worst thing Republicans in this state have done, not by a long shot.

you oppose it because it creates heated disagreement? GAWD
If you’re a conservative, you’re in the wimp camp aka mccain/graham types. You rather see happy faces on the table than to see millions of lives ruined because of your cowardice

You obviously have never lived on the Mexican border.

Go live on the border in South East Arizona for a year, then get back to me.

Forgiving people who came here illegally is what gave us the illegal alien problem we now have, so we should make the same mistake again, and expect different results?

McCain has been stabbing us in the back for over 2 decades. We should re-elect him, and expect different results?

I seem to remember something about doing the same things over, and over, and expecting different results, being the definition of insanity.

I was a staunch conservative my entire life,

Then the Republicans passed SB1098 in 2003 - the bill to change Congressional paper to yellow.

Now I want those sobs OUT!

Danny, Danny, Danny. If “The immigrants help many companies which in turn help the US economy.” then we should allow in about 4 billion poor people worldwide. I live in Vegas, I can be back in thirty minutes with sad pics of the negative side of slave Mexican labor.
