I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a purchase of a new scope for my AR-15. The company is Leapers, and the scope is a 3x-9x X 40mm on a 1 inch tube, with illuminated mil-dot reticle.
It's USA made (Michigan) and all of the reviews I've read have been positive. Here's the deal - it only costs $65 to $70 dollars! I'm on a tight budget, so the price point is really appealing. Anybody have personal experience with this company's products?
I really enjoy using the 40gr HPs Sierras - man, talk about interlocking cloverleafs. The 53 gr Matchkings are pretty nice as well.
Except when the wind blows....
Even with a scope, I run out of eyeball at 350M. Doc tell me its the start of cataracts...
VA told me the same thing . They said the good news was I would likely croak from all this other stuff before it got too bad .
Every day I get vertical is a victory.
Every day at the range is a ton of, esp if I can talk all the kids in coming along. Usually its “I'll provide the ammo” and there we all are.
You know what they say, “The family that shoots together...”
If you put a $75 scope on your rifle, you have a $75 rifle. Scrimp on the rifle. Don’t scrimp on the scope.
Hellz yeah! Hey Ma! I know what I want for Christmas!
Pure garbage. It takes a special company to find a way to make a scope that falls apart from the recoil of an AR-15, and Leapers is that company. Get a cheap 4x from Bushnell or Simmons if your budget is limited. Leapers products do not last long.
