'Indiana Jones' star and 'Ally McBeal' actress tie the knot in New Mexico on Tuesday.
Indiana Jones is officially off the market. Harrison Ford and actress Calista Flockhart got married on Tuesday after dating for eight years. A rep for Flockhart confirmed to Us Weekly that the Hollywood duo got hitched in Sante Fe, New Mexico, where Ford is currently filming "Cowboys and Aliens."
Us reports that the wedding took place at the Governor's Mansion in New Mexico and that Governor Bill Richardson presided over the nuptials. According to People magazine, the pair got engaged over Valentine's Day weekend last year. The couple are raising a son together and met at the 2002 Golden Globes.
Perhaps a lavish honeymoon is on the way as the pair made headlines earlier this year as one of the top-earning couples in entertainment, as estimated by Forbes magazine. Although Jay-Z and Beyoncé were the power lovebirds who raked in the most cash from 2008 to 2009 with $122 million, Ford and Flockhart took the #2 spot on the money mag's list with $69 million.
Earlier this year, Ford also gave his thoughts about the next possible installment in the "Indiana Jones" franchise. The Hollywood titan told MTV News that he would like to explore Indy's personal life a bit more in an upcoming flick. "I think it would be interesting to deepen the relationship between he and his son [Mutt, played by Shia LaBeouf] and play on that relationship," said Ford. "It's full of opportunity. The series is full of opportunity."
The star also commented on how married life for Jones might fit into an Indy storyline. "I think [scenes with a married Indy and Marion] would be nice grace notes," Ford said. "We'll see what we come up with."
Now that Ford is hitched like his adventurous alter ego Jones, he might have some fodder for another movie.
no
The “I did not know that” in quotes was meant to imply that.
As I recall from that time, he and his wife didn’t divorce right away...... when they announced their split was because they grew apart, him wanting to mostly spend time at his ranch and her in NY.
I know some pilots in eastern Idaho who have met him. They have nothing but good to say about him as far as aviation is concerned.
A few years back some hikers got stranded up in the Tetons. The local law around Jackson, WY asked if he could go get them, he went up with his helicopter and fetched them home. The hikers were very surprised at their rescue pilot.
What has she done in 10 years? Harrison Ford continues to provide one useless film after another.
Overrated is a compliment to these two.
I saw something on Biography where they said he basically cheated on his first wife.
I always imagined her being alot like her Ally McBeal character and just annoying and definitely no cushion for....well you know. I just really don’t get the $69 million? WTF has either of them done that more than a dozen people have watched in the last year? Indy 4 was a complete waste of time, but he probably got points on it.
Ellen Degenerate?
Dating for 8 years? I need to look up the definition of dating again.
My son met him once while working on his plane. Said he was reserved, but very nice & polite.
He crashed his new helicopter on his ranch not long ago.
I think the only crash he has ever been in was in 1999 during training where he powered on a bit late in an autorotation drill. He is a very safe and conscientious pilot.
I had a friend, Eric, in college whose aunt owned the farm where much of "Witness" was filmed; in fact, my friend appeared as an extra Amish kid walking across the field to the funeral at the opening of the film. He kept a scrap book of the making of the film and was able to spend a lot of time with the cast and crew, including Ford whom he described as being pretty down-to-earth and friendly, but like you say, reserved: he said that when he could, Ford would take some long walks by himself in the Lancaster countryside.
I may not agree with a lot of Ford's politics, but he did have some good roles in some good films, and by most accounts is a pretty likeable chap.
I just looked...she has been on that show for the last 100 episodes called Brothers and Sisters...never watched it.

My guess is all of the Star Wars money is still pouring in some how.
My wife records that Brothers and Sisters show. Want to talk about some tedious tripe on TV....there you have it. But they cancel Gary Unmarried!
I think he crashed a brand new ship at his ranch. My father and sister taught him to fly at Bell.
