Thx SW, been waitin’ for that sd slot... the graphics are what? That little “waistline” on the mini is for cooling, I’m sure. WOW!

Sure you can!
The same way you "exchange" an economy seat for business class...

Looks like it would make a sweet media server.

There’s typically a 15 day return privilege with Apple products. Depends on where you bought it, probably, and if it’s been put into service.
What a lovely machine.

Bought it from the on-line store last week, got the unit on Monday. And I just started putting into service yesterday.

Looks like a nifty redesign, and the unit is tailor-made as a media server, especially with the HDMI port.
To me, the big question is how easy would this be to use to record video from the entertainment system, rather than just being used as a playback device.

Upgrades seem unlikely. I’m sure you can attach most anything via USB. This is one of the few computers that can run OS X, Windows and Linux.

That price is a killer. For just a few hundred more, you can have a whoop-ass iMac.
I love my Mini, but as a concept, it’s only really attractive around the $500 price mark.
On a side note, it’s kind of funny how Jason Snell at MacWorld confidently predicted the end of the Mini a couple of years ago.

Sweet machine but I think they pushed the price too high. Happy with my late 2009 Mini. Barring something unexpected, will stand pat with Mackbook & Mini 2-3 more years.
