Rumor is it is a long term deal...at least 7-8 years.
Then Texas may go independent. They used the PAC 16gazillion and the rest of the Big 12 like a kleenex to get what they really wanted, their own Texas regional network owned by the Longhorns. They get a conference they can really dominate now, got rid of that pesky championship game and they got half the schools to thank them for it. Also aTm, Tech and OU continue to follow Texas around like obedient little puppies.
The only person who saw through them was Tom Osbourne and Nebraska. Good for them.
I’m having some conflicting loyalty today, so I’ll just say that you just proved that it doesn’t take many words to tell the truth.
I suspect the Big 12 will add teams to replace Colorado and Nebraska. The WAC and Mid-American might be good places to go for additional teams.
