Nutmeg Struck By Fly Ball To Center Field

Right handed Red Sox 3rd baseman Adrian Beltre hit one out of Fenway Park Friday afternoon, striking Nutmeg squarely on the forearm. X-rays revealed a fractured radius. Nutmeg is in good spirits today.

Beltre, with a .335 average and 44 RBI in 2010, was unavailable for comment.

If I really worked for Reuters, this event would never have been a story because the batter is a minority member, and no babies were eaten by evil conservatives. Because the injured party is a member of the fairer sex, race trumps gender every time.

If I worked for Reuters, I would have "enhanced" the photo to show a better door color than the icky yellow, and flipped the photo around to reflect a Left arm, rather than right. Instead, I used a file photo to represent the true color of the short arm cast. Journalistic license.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it, Party Pooper.

Flip the photo, my brother had to have that done for his wedding pics.

During his bachelor’s party he was trying to get back inside the house for more beer, punching out the screen with his left hand. Really scrapped his knuckles.

So the photographer took pictures of the rings on the right hand and flipped the negative.

We had some wild parties back then but no fights and the police were called only once. Some idiot, now a FReeper, was spread eagle in the street pushing a dog under a parked car and yelling “Get The Cat”.
