I was in a violent car accident Wednesday night. I was hit on my right side by a lady high on drugs and alcohol. My truck spun and we hit each other again. I spun the opposite way, hit the curb, and flipped into a pole. I whipped around the pole into a second pole and ended up upside down. The roof collapsed in and I had to be extracted by the fire department. Both vehicles are totaled.
Thanks to God Almighty, my only real injury is a small fracture in the first vertebrae of my neck. It is not near my spinal cord so paralysis is not a concern. I have various other bumps and bruises. I never lost consciousness, and I have full sensation and function of all of my extremities. I have to wear a neck collar for six weeks. If my fracture was more severe or in a slightly different spot, I would be a paraplegic or dead.
I really don't have any information on the other driver other than she is a woman who looked to be in her late 40s or 50s and either white or hispanic. I don't know what kind of injuries she might have. She is being prosecuted for DWI.
I am quite blessed to be alive and not hurt any worse than I am. I haven't really felt much pain at all.
By the way, my truck was a 2006 Ford Ranger.

I drove a Ranger for about 14 years and luckily never got hit. How did it hold up? Will you buy another Ranger?

I been T-boned and gone end over end and a couple rolls and upside down, thankfully no poles or trees .. Stuff happens.

BTW...please have your doc get a Vit D level.....most people are very low in that department....I take 5,000 units/day.....it will help in healing, bone strength, cardiac...etc.....

Having seen much of this here in Miami, Fl, where was the driver from?
Did the driver even have a license?
