From the article:

"Joseph Wang, a nanoengineering professor at the University of California at San Diego, has come up with underpants that have sensors built into the waistband to sense blood pressure, heart rate, and other biological markers. (As if I haven't written enough about high-tech underwear lately.) "

Let the double entendres begin!

Let's play Connect The Dots, shall we?

First, this article: Joseph Wang, a nanoengineering professor at the University of California at San Diego, has come up with underpants that have sensors built into the waistband to sense blood pressure, heart rate, and other biological markers.

Then, this article: Last week, ...the White House quietly noted the issuance of an executive order "Establishing the National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council", in which the president, citing the “authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America” is now actively engaging in "lifestyle behavior modification" for American citizens that do not exhibit "healthy behavior." At least initially, the 8 main verticals of focus will include: smoking cessation; proper nutrition; appropriate exercise; mental health; behavioral health; sedentary behavior; substance-use disorder; and domestic violence screenings.

Now, to Pass Go and Collect $200: can YOU - "Connect the Dots"?

Actually, Doctors can learn a lot from your skivvies.

I went in for my every ten years physical recently and the doc asked me for urine, stool, blood, and semen samples...so I just gave him my underpants. Smart.
