My dad used to work at a puppy mill, day after day working over a hot forge, hammering them puppies out of mild steel.
Hard sweaty work, and for only 37 cents an hour.
The hours were long too, seventy minutes each.
People long for the old days, but they forget how hard life could be.
Good to hear these are closing down. I am sure they will all get jobs farming mayonnaise or something.
