Hi Diana! I’m extremely late to the thread, but did want to tell you how much I enjoyed your photos. Everything is beautiful.

My advice is to keep that row open for another month or 6w and then start some fall cabbages or broccoli or something. There are ‘heat resistant’ broccolis that might do OK down here. I’m going to try some this year too.

I should have added:
I find watering to be the time to let your mind wander and explore new paths of future gardens........... that don’t need watering so much............

Fall Garden Advice.
Msucares is a great site. The fall garden exposition at the experiment station in Crystal Springs is a neat thing to visit too. It's usually sometimes in October.

Wow. Your fractal cauliflower is gorgeous. I’m going to try those down here this fall with frost cloth. Hopefully get one by Christmas. If I’m lucky.
Beautiful cat too.

We had a B24 Liberator fly over the Vast Bender Estate TWICE around 2PM and NO I do not know how to use the camera on my cell phone. It was at about 1,500 feet and is here for a mini air show...

Tube! What have you done to warrant an aircraft disguised as a B24 Liberator to over fly your estate and take pictures? Twice?

Exactly what is growing in the Bender garden that has aircraft flying over taking photos?
