When I was in Las Vegas recently, my wife won $1700 at the slot machine. We left $1500 in $100 bills on the kitchen counter by accident the next morning and when we got back, it was all still there. I thought that was pretty lucky. But we did not leave it there the next day. We didn't want to push our luck.

BTW, if you are ever in Las Vegas, have breakfast at the Egg & I (or EggWorks) restaurant. Very good breakfast. That is, if you are ever in Las Vegas.

One thing about Las Vegas is that it is very flat. And it is surrounded by mountains on all sides. I think that is a very unique thing about Las Vegas.
