MANATEE Authorities arrested a woman who defecated in her pants during a domestic violence arrest and threw it at two deputies, hitting one on the leg, according to a Manatee County Sheriffs Office report. On Sunday just after 8 p.m., deputies began investigating a domestic dispute between Amy Marie Hager, 33, and her husband at the couples home, in the 7100 block of 28th Street East. When deputies went to arrest Hager considering her the aggressor in the domestic violence situation, she became hostile and tried to resist arrest, according to the sheriffs report. After taking Hager into custody, deputies went to switch her from handcuffs to leg shackles before putting her in a transport van to take her to jail, and she violently jerked away, the report states. In response, a deputy pinned Hager against the rear of a transport van, and she told deputies at that point she had defecated in her pants. As deputies tried to put Hager in the van, she turned and grabbed fecal matter from her shorts and threw it, hitting a deputy on the thigh. Damn, I only hit one of you, she then said, according to the report. Deputies arrested Hager on charges of domestic aggravated battery, battery on a law enforcement officer, assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, and resisting arrest without violence. She was being held in the Manatee County jail without bail.
