Things are not always as they appear.
We actually have two different woman appear in the same 30 second video. Stephany #1 (real) and Stephany #2 (fake). Look very closely. Much more is involved. Was Stephany (fake) a spy? Why was she looking at his laptop? Was Stephany (real) kidnapped by a third party prior to this video? Was her dead body put into Joran's room after he left? Is Joran innocent? Was his confession forced?

I’m not going to lose a lot of sleep over this premise. The guy is a creep who got away with murder in Aruba because of his dad’s influence. If this is the way he gets justice then so be it.

He is a serial killer (several other girls missing in his path) who has already gotten away with murder. Video framing or not, there was a dead girl in his room right after he left. I will not shed any tears if the Peruvian government framed him with fake pictures for a murder he committed.
