Good interrogation techniques in Peru huh? Aruba should take lessons.

Now he’s qualified to be a census taker. They do run background checks...oops...nevermind.

You know, that's really a disgusting thing to say. I have worked the census this year. A part-time, on-call, hourly paid job is better than no job at all. Since when did "conservatives" sneer at honest work done by Americans.

The census is required by the U.S. Constitution and has been conducted every 10 years since 1790. You may dislike or even hate the federal government, current administration, and even some of the stupid questions the feds have tacked on to the basic head count, but those who work the census are just hard-working people trying to do the best job possible under difficult circumstances.

Obviously the punk has a screw loose. It is probably about power. She touched something that was HIS. That’s all that it took and he boot a boot on her neck and kicked her in the ass. Oh - wait, wrong guy. Same idea though.

Don’t let the libertines and wackos get to you. The overwhelming majority of them are liberaltarians, not Conservatives. They think the Constitution contains things like a “right” to smoke dope, kill babies and pervert marriage. They don’t realize that the Constitution actually calls for a Census.

Perhaps so, but they call themselves "real" conservatives.

My wife has worked on the census and most of the workers don’t like many of the intrusive questions. The irony is..we sent our form in with only one blank filled in..2 residents. No names etc. Since the form was sent in there will be no follow up..how do I know. My wife has done the follow up in our neighborhood, and only people who did not return the forms are being contacted. So if you gave the minimum constitutional info..number only..no hastle.

Relax, it was a sarcastic barb meant for the Van der Smoot scumbag and the current administration.

I did not critize anyone doing a job.

Stephany Flores Ramirez probably did the same thing her family did...Google “Joran van der Sloot.” Her family discovered exactly the same damning info one terrifying hour before they learned her body was found.

I’m not a libertarian and I know that most census workers are people from my own community. I still refused to answer anything other than how many people live here. It was obvious they didn’t like or trust the Kenyan anymore than I do.
I will say this though, with this administration, I am becoming less and less trustful anyone and everyone in our government. It doesn’t mean I believe in right to smoke dope, abortion or fag marriages. It just means I don’t like them and I don’t trust them.

Perhaps, before they remove the thumb screws, they can squeeze another one out of him for good measure.

Thumb screws? You're making quite an assumption there... you believe that he even still has thumbs attached to his hands??

Yes you did. Don't lie and try to weasle out of it. You compared census workers to a murderer, probably a double murderer at that. It was disgusting and a real low-life thing to say.

They (Peru) also have some of the worst prisons in South America. Regardless of his sentence, he'll problem only be in there a few years ... if he is luck to last that long.... He is about to come the receiving end of the punishment he handed out. It won't be pretty and if he's luck the end will be quick...

I so wish he would reveal what happened to Natalie Holloway. I can't think of a worst nightmare for a parent.

I know Joran was trying to extort money, I believe approximately a quarter million to tell what happened. I would give that money to the Peruvians to "help" extract the information from Joran.

That said, hopefully Joran's experience of the Peruvian justice system will be nasty, brutish, and short. Well, I should say, short, but not too short.

I just posted this to another thread;

I wonder what language he had set on the laptop ?

Could she read Dutch ? Unlikely.

One other thing, much has been made of the front desk holding his passport, so how did he get into Chile ? Must’ve had a second passport ?

One guy over on Scared Monkeys thinks Joran was “in training” - procuring young nubile turistas for his father (and maybe others).

Might explain why they were so eager to cover it all up in Aruba (quite apart from the possible loss of tourist revenue).

Glad they got him tho’.

I still think Natalie’s body is in the well behind the Van der Sloot house.
