Moscow, Russia - A boy named Boris Kipriyanovich, or Boriska, lives in the town of Zhirinovsk of Russias Volgograd region. He was born on January 11, 1996. Since he was four he used to visit a well-known anomalous zone, commonly referred to as Medvedetskaya Gryada a mountain near the town. It seems that the boy needed to visit the zone regularly to fulfill his needs in energy.
Boriskas parents, nice, educated and hospitable people, are worried about their sons fascinating talents. They do not know how others will perceive Boriska when he grows up. The say that they would be happy to consult an expert to know how to raise their son.
Being a doctor, his mother could not help but notice that the baby boy could hold his head already in 15 days after his birth. He uttered the first word baba when he was four months old and started to pronounce simple words soon afterwards.
At one year and a half he had no difficulties in reading newspaper headlines.
At age of two years he started drawing and leaned how to paint six months later. When he turned two, he started going to a local kindergarten. Tutors immediately noticed the unusual boy, his uncommon quickwittedness, language skills and unique memory.
However, his parents witnessed that Boriska acquired knowledge not only from the outer world, but through mysterious channels as well. They saw him reading unknown information from somewhere.
No one has ever taught him, Boriskas mother said. Sometimes he would sit in a lotus position and start telling us detailed facts about Mars, planetary systems and other civilizations, which really puzzled us, the woman said.
How may a little boy know such things?

Very Sad but a very good movie.
“The Martian Child”
Is he staying at Jubal Harshaw’s place?
What movie is that from?
His imagination may be some sort of coping mechanism for his intellectual growth at such a young age.
It may be his way of filling in his need for stimulation in a very boring Siberian world.
my oldest son would sound out/sight read many, many words and would read entire childrens books to me at 2 yrs. old when I sent him to pre-school at 3, they had to bump him up to the next class because he would read off all the lessons on the easel before the teachers could get a chance ... he got skipped up again from 4th to 6th ... some kids just have that gift I dont think theyre from Mars ... seriously
Nei9ther do I, I’m happy for you that your child was treated as a genius rether than a misfit.....for too often brilliant kids are mishandled by the modern school system....they sit bored to death day after day learning nothing. They (me) sometimes become troublesome and cause mayhem in the class. Congratulate your school staff that they advanced your child, God bless him/her and may he/she really contribute to humanity with their gift.
THis kid reads, so he should get a kick out of the Johnny Ringo books...
I prefer Tralfalmador.
I had a neighbor and friend back in the 60’s that played piano by ear...when young her parents sent her to a teacher, but it didn’t help. She could hear something played once and would play it exactly after one hearing...not everyones brain works the same....then there are the democrats who’s brains don’t work at all......
Modern feminist(or maybe just any woman)would go absolutely nuts if they read a John Carter book. I used to love them when I was young.
I learned to read on my own and could read quite well at 4 yrs. My mother took me to the library and I had a library card before I entered Kindergarten. I was bored silly by the Dick and Jane books.
“Where’s my Yob?”
Cheers!
see, that’ll l’arn ya. ;’)
Hmmm... from the proving grounds on Uranus to Earth's pain in the ass.
