I sent my form in fast. And sure enough a census taker was at my door. He said he could not reach my next door neighbors.
I said I was not going to speak for anybody. I was distinctly unfriendly.
Then he asked me if there were residents there on a certain date. I replied. And he left.
I explained we sent in the form and they stated they didn't get it. I responded that's hardly likely but gave her the number of people in the home. She asked the names and I responded I don't share any private information with anyone unless it's necessary and I have already complied with my responsibility for this matter.
She responded briskly "OK" and left in peace.
My sister is safe. She posted on facebook earlier today. Unless you have internet access under the barn...
I mailed mine April 1st so they sent a drone to my home too. The form asks you who lives there April 1st so being honest to a fault, I waited.
What would it take to save or create America.
Blame it on the USPS,,, a small percent, but still many mail pieces get destroyed in mail handling automated equipment. Please folks, if its really important,, register it. And don’t send pens, thumb drives, jewelry, rings, keys, cell phones in a regular envelope. It will be destroyed by the belting that moves the mail.
You signed up to tell you are real mad?..... LOL. Fill out as many as they’ll let you and claim as many as you can.

That’s why we never open the door or even acknowledge the bell or someone knocking — we can see the people outside and if we don’t know ‘em, we keep quiet until they leave.

Some guy with a clipboard came knocking the other day... I didn’t answer; call me paranoid, but I don’t open my door to strangers.
I wonder if he was a census dude...?
He wasn’t dressed well enough to be another visitor from the local LDS church.
I filled out the first question on the form and sent it back. The census taker showed up at my apartment door four times. I never provided her any info other than my name and the address of my building on her last stop here. That finally got rid of her. The government lied in their advertisements. They said if you didn’t return the form, you would probably be visited by a census taker. Several other people on FR answered just the first question, and sent the form back, yet were bothered by a census worker showing up multiple times at their doors.
Not when he didn't even bother to answer the question about his actual race honestly.

The same guy came to our house a few weeks ago saying that our Census forms were not received. My Mom told him it was impossible since she mailed other important bills along with that form and they all received it so it would not make sense for the census form to have not arrived. So he came back the next day and wanted our info again, just gave him our last name and how many people live in the house. Don’t know what’s going on but it did seem a little suspicious that they are not receiving this stuff...
Really not all that suspicious friend, after all it is the government. Now when are they going to be handling my medical care???
