TWO men suspects were arrested today in connection with the beating deaths of dozens of Koi fish on a California college campus.
Two men were captured on surveillance cameras beating the fish with baseball bats yesterday, KTXL-TV in Sacramento reported.
At least 13 fish were killed and several others injured in the attack at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton.
Several of the injured Koi remained in their pond today, KTXL reported.
They will soon learn about the scales of justice.
Now they need to determine who is the sociopath and who is the follower, lock up the sociopath forever, send the follower to boot camp.
They were probly just being koi.
LOL
It’s like beating fish in a barrel...whiffle bat style!
Pointless cruelty to animals is still wrong.
>>Pointless cruelty to animals is still wrong.<<
Agreed, but my point is that our priorities are somewhat screwed up when more attention and hand wringing is exhibited for an animal than for a human being.
I’m sorry, but I don’t accept the moral equivalance of beating - not killing - a fish with drilling a hole in a baby’s head and sucking the brain out.
Call me crass and insensitive, but human life is infinitely more precious than that of an animal. The only exception is for those who kill other human beings.
Abortion is clearly wrong, that’s an absolute given. Doesn’t make cruelty any *less* wrong.
Ok, poorly phrased and I’m sure it’ll be taken advantage of.
Try...abortion is unquestionably wrong, but it’s presence doesn’t magically make cruelty to animals somehow acceptable either. They’re *both* wrong!
Tenderizing...you’re doing it wrong.
