Hey that is great news. Raised beds tend to dry out quickly so check often. Also you may need to fertilize more often.

You’ll be happy to know I *think* I’ve found a use for fire ants! (no, not as a WMD. Unless you’re a SVB!). I’ve noticed that my zucchinis that have fire ant beds near/under are *not* affected by SVB’s so far. I suspect the ants are eating the larvae. Or mom SVB doesn’t lay her eggs on them. Either/or/both.

I will keep an eye on this.
