why are you letting the school tell you NOT to report a crime?
my daughter was threatened by another girl at school, and they told me that they couldn’t do anything because the miscreant was ADHD. I called the cops, and let them handle it. there were no further incidents.
the school, like all organizations, will take the easy-out: covedr it up.

Well, I’m not yet.
And if this same girl pushed my daughter down because she didn’t like her shirt, I would tell her to shake it off. They’re six, after all. I got in plenty of fights when I was six.
The threat and the motive are my concern.
