I know its not quite on topic but me and the folks were talking about my Grandad’s brother who died 12 years ago.
Anyways,he fought at El Alamein in 1942 and I remember him saying something about capturing prisoners from the SS Arab Legion. Was he right ? Does anyone know if the Nazis had moslem troops ?

The Germans had mussie troops in both North Africa and the Balkans (SS division), The grand mufti of Jerusalem (arafats uncle) became a good friend and allie of Hitler. There is a picture of them having meetings.
