This is a mortgage -- probably one that BofA acquired from Countrywide.

You can't "move" a mortgage without refinancing. However, it might be worth it to avoid the hassle.

Not easily done with a mortgage. Once you refinance it with a smaller local bank (if you can) and pay closing costs, go through all the pain of credit checks and appraisals, etc to get through closing, the small bank or mortgage company sells your mortgage to BofA or some other TARP-bailed-out institution, and you're right back in the same boat.
