I agree with you on not knocking her for a bad “non event” pic.
To step out looking great it takes personal time.
Not easy for us Moms who are careproviders/family first.
How many of us in reality look stunning day to day when busy doing Mom stuff that often does require all our time and double/triple time when our kids/us are dealing with flus/sched. events ect...
I’m not into fashion. But, if I became First Lady and had no affinity for fashion, I would hire a stylist.
The alternative is being the butt of jokes and having photos that will last for hundreds of years to attest to the truth.
I agree, we should lay off Michelle. But she provides so much material for ridicule.
Oh please. It’s not her hair, makeup, etc....people are commenting on...it’s the clothes.
Even the busiest mom can put on a cute shift dress and sandals and look terrific. There is NO excuse for wearing ill-fitting too-tight pants. She has plenty of money to buy new things when she outgrows the old.
Her girls are old enough to take care of themselves. It’s not like she has 2 y/o triplets running around.
MO is just a disaster in every way. She knows she’ll be photographed and obviously is too stupid to know what looks good or just doesn’t care!
To step out looking great takes me approximately 13 minutes every morning. My clothes fit and are clean.
Also, if you think a First Lady is her children’s “care provider,” you are a bit wide of the mark. She has umpteen staff to handle that now, which is (I suspect) why the girls are always wearing something cute.

Oh, c’mon! Do YOU have about 120 assistants to help you with your appointments, clothes, etc? Do you have a personal hair dresser? Do you have someone to do your makeup for you? Does your mother live with you to “help with the children”? Are you relieved of all household chores including cooking, entertainment, laundry, etc.? Michelle has all of the above and still can’t look like a lady, much less a First Lady.
Thanks, Global. There’s plenty about her to dislike, but this kind of moment can happen to any of us.
