it's true that bull sharks have been found as far north up the Mississippi as Cairo, Illinois, having swum up from the gulf.

Oh, my. It's really only about 120 miles to the Arch from there.

Yep...it was, IIRC, back in the 1920's or 30's. That's just the furthest known that they've come inland in the US.
