David was 14. He was ball tapped by a peer. A 14 year old is old enough to know better but it seems that anything goes these days. It gets worse. A 5 year old boy was operated on in Indiana for injuries received in a ball tapping.

Bingo. That's why it's marginalized by the word "tap."
It should be treated as violent assault with suspencsion and criminal charges, nothing less.
You can be damn sure that if it ever became popular to do something similiar to girls, there would be candlelight vigils and demands for the death penalty.
Twice.
You’re right, it is a serious topic and I am also glad that you reposted it.
It certainly needs to be seen so that parents are aware and can do what they can to protect their sons.
Thank you.
And I dont understand why.
Yup.
It is a very unpleasant subject.
It wasn’t a Sunday mod.....
The last two were pulled yesterday.
I thought this was a story about kids playing baseball
I re-read the article and still couldn't find any indication that the victims were asking to be hit in the groin. The assailant might think it's a great game - the victim, not so much.
Our kids are being led off a cliff.
These kids are struggling with manhood but they have not been taught honor or decency.
OK. Maybe it was pulled because the comments were inappropriate.
Glad you pinged the homeschool list.
When you were a kid, if older larger kids were caught doing this to the ones that are much smaller, Dad would have had a solution that involved a razer strop, not boxing gloves.
But you cant do that today, so these thugs will need to be dealt with by the courts.
Look at my video link. There are plenty of volunteers
Its wierd. these kids are doing this for some kind of status
Man...we are toast.
We called this “geeters” when I was in third grade in 1978. Pop your buddy in the crotch and yell Geeters! He doubles over, everyone laughs and goes on. Nothing new under the sun I guess.
No. I saw the one just before it was pulled and there was nothing inappropriate about the comments.
And considering some threads I’ve seen posted and allowed to stay up on FR, I couldn’t figure out why this one got pulled either. It’s not even close to like the one about the guy on acid who thought there were monsters living in his privates so he got rid of them and flushed them.
Our kids are struggling in an effeminate world.
Why would any male volunteer for this? It happened to me playing sports by accident, and it’s a literally debilitating, sickening pain that takes half an hour to recover enough to even walk. Get hit hard enough and you’re laid out and under a doctor’s care for a week. It’s not fun, and it’s not funny.
