Headline is from the ESPN Orioles' page; headline on the story itself is "Mistaken identity delays Jones' entry". The unconfirmed speculation is they confused Adam Jones, the baseball player, with Adam "Pacman" Jones, the criminal/sometime football player.

What if professional sports franchises started building their own d@mn stadiums and quit taking tax dollars for luxury suites?
Oh it’s the leagues I do not like. NBA, MBL, and NFL. I do not like the NCAA either. I knew a kid who played college football with a famous current QB - he was his lineman. The kids are pretty much used while teh schoosl rake in big bucks.
Sports programming also keeps CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN in business too. I loathe TV because all the 5 networks control 95% of the channels and they are all behind Obama.
Fox? At least 10% owned by the Saudis. Saudis = Obama=CAIR = Muslim Brotherhood = building mosques in western countries plus pushing the export of Muslims into western countries.
I understand your disdain for TV. (it is well known). My interest in organized sports started early and there wasn’t much on TV. It did give me a sense of being good with my first team, (Warriors). I believe the over-whelming money that took it over is a problem. It will ruin the sport. That is a free-market system though. You must determine how you want that managed. It’s not as simple as one may think.
