Okay - I wanted to to post, occasionnaly, on DU, so I set up an account. My Hotmail account put it in the "Junk" file...hee heee.

The Yahoo Answers politics section can be great fun.
I did this once. I tried to post politely on what I thought were the most non-controversial threads, and using precise logic with cited evidence. No profanity. No personalizing. Exceedingly gracious and even-handed.
I lasted in that evil DU toilet for only a few days before they banned me.

I have been banned from that dirt chute of a forum too many times to count. I’ll set up another account eventually just to undermine them but they’re onto my IP address for now I think. They get all pissy when you shatter their beliefs with reality.

Obama is the cause of the oil disaster. Look at the timing, for one thing. Also, it would take someone as smart and clever as President Obama to plan and pull of something like that, leaving almost no trace. The most convincing argument for it being an inside government job at the highest levels is, once again we are expected to swallow the ludicrous idea that burning oil can bring down a steel structure. If you look at the videos of the initial fire, check the color of the flames. These are not the colors of a normal oil fire, it’s much hotter than normal oil. Some additive or enhancement was added to make the oil burn much hotter. Only a secret government lab could have come up with this.
It helps your authenticity if you claim to live on anti-depressants but reading freeper posts still make you weep.
