I found a little white moth in my front yard, and he seemed to like my finger - I took this photo
We had one that was almost as large but I only got a photo of his little cousin at post #81. I have to say I might not have had the guts to go out a take a picture of yours.
Anyone with the name Dooderbutt deserves a break now and then.
Neat picture. Thanks!
Somehow when it’s magnified that much, it doesn’t look like a moth at all. More like some sort of odd rodent.
Very Interesting
I just saw one like that in the kitchen about two or three days ago .... all white, top and bottom, no spots of any kind ... :-)
Well, truthfully, it’s a Goodle image. :-)
Uhmm...whoops...make that it’s a “Google” image...lol...
Wow, what a great picture!!!
LOL it’s my dog’s nickname
I love you
Well, it’s one amazing specimen no matter where you got it. Wouldn’t want it hanging around under our front porch light because my male dog likes to eat moths. That one might be the end of him.
Never knew there was such a creature as a “poodle” moth. Nice job taking that photo so close up.
Yeah, I’ve got a male min pin that likes to stalk and eat insects too. I’m pretty sure that moth is bigger than he is.
So, how did he taste?
Great photo, thanks for sharing.
Yes dooderbutt that is cool, and so is your name....bye bye dooderbutt, time for bed......

I’ve been going thru a patch of doing 1500-piece jigsaw puzzles. The light hanging over my table, right where my face goes, has attracted tiny little things that look amazing, like your pic. I’m starting to respect those little bugs. Wonderful photo.
