For that kind of money I would prefer 50 acres in the country with a ten acre spring-fed lake.

Exactly what I have, except I only have an acre-sized spring fed pond, but we love it.

Nothing grand, just an old farm, but it's heaven on earth. Plus I have a great husband, wonderful vegetable gardens, no staff to pay, just dogs, cats, birds and koi to feed.

I have an interesting story to tell about Sandra and an apartment. I can't remember what year it was but it was about the time she started coming to Austin. She was dating Matthew McConnehay and he is an Austinite. My daughter was the manager of an apartment complex and Sandra and her Dad came in to look at an apartment. This wasn't a fancy apartment but it was near the running trail at Zilker Park. She wanted a place to run. She said she would take the apartment if they would paint all the walls white and replace the carpet and did not have to pay a deposit. My daughter balked but decided to agree because who wants to make Sandra Bullock mad!! Anyway she lived there while her home was being built and ran everyday. She is really a down to earth person and never asked for anything else but she wouldn't pay a deposit. She called her dad,Daddy. She is a very good business woman.I know that's not how to spell Matthew's name but I've drawn a blank!

You could have alot more than 50 acres. I have forty and a house and paid 80,000 in 1998. That kind of money would buy you several thousands of acres with ponds etc. and lake front property. Probably have a 20,000 square foot home also.
