More hard evidence the Tea Party is no extension of GOP brass. In a bold move, the Board of the Hampton Roads Tea Party (SE Virginia - Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth) has endorsed a Republican primary candidate in VA-2 who is NOT the hand-picked favorite of the Republican establishment. Navy veteran and businessman Ben Loyola is the Tea Party Board's fave, over presumed front-runner Scott Rigell, for the GOP nod to go against freshman D Glenn Nye in November. This is a hotly contested, widely watched race that will no doubt draw big media and big money. Go to the Tea Party website and read up.

I don't think you have your information correct.

Labrador, who won the Primary, is an Illegal Immigration Lawyer and is also, either a Senator or Representative in the ID State Senate or House.

In the not too distant past, he has voted against legislation that would have cut off benefits to Illegals.

Sarah's guy was the better candidate, all around, he was better on the border, and just as good or better, on all other conservative issues.
