8/28 or 9/12? (if you had to or are choosing. Which?)

I'm just curious.

If you are in the boat I am in(I can only attend one and I have to choose) which one are you choosing?

If you can't attend either, but you wish you could but had to choose one, which one would you choose?

If you are lucky(or prepared) enough to attend both, which one are you more looking forward to?

Personally, if I could go (which I can’t), I’d go to the 8/28 with Glenn Beck. IMO,I think that one will be more “moving” than 9/12, esp. since he is specifically stating it’s NOT a rally per say and to leave the signs and banners at home and bring your kids, family, friends, neighbors, etc.

Kind of like a repeat of MLK...Civil Rights March, I think.

Curiousty should be the very least of your concerns.

912 is a number, not a calender date. The number 9 refers to 9 Principles and the number 12 refers to 12 Values.

You may already subscribe to some, if not all. I'll list them for you and then you can decide which, if any, are important to you.

8/28/2010 on the other hand is a calendar date. It is the date concerned Americans will gather at the Lincoln Memorial for the Restoring Honor Rally to honor our heroes, our heritage, and our future.

This non-political, non-partisan event will recognize our First Amendment rights and honor the service members who fight to protect those freedoms.

If you were to give this, the serious consideration it deserves you will discover you really have nothing more important to do on this coming 28th day in August.

I Love Beck...but I am not going to D.C. for him. Plus, I want the rally to be about US and not about him...so I am going to the 9-12 event. Good Luck...it is a good question.

Actually sir, it’s both. Notice how the headline I typed has the 9 divided away from the 12 by a slash?

That’s because there is a march on dc on the 12th of september.(there’s one on 9/11 too, the restoring the constitution rally)

So far most respondents seem to have understood the point of this thread.

Is attendance better for the 9/12 rally? or the 8/28 rally?
