The tupper ware ice cream container fits perfectly in the child seat of the shopping cart, fits in length wise.
I use index cards to divide and file my coupons in it.
One year I saved over $2,000.00 using coupons, that was when all three boys were home. When you return from the store, write down on the calender your coupon savings, you will be surprised how they add up.
Anyway, moral of the story is that at W/D ASK for that meat discount on items due to expire within about a week and ye shall receive (usually).
However, I will give you my coupon magic word of the day: "overage."
Check out this website for HEB deals then.. HEB is listed under
other Grocery Stores. Good luck..

Vietnamese grocery stores sell shrimp for about half what traditional stores sell it for - and it’s fresher.

Thanx for the tip. I go to this one Vietnamese grocery story mainly for its incredibly tasty sweet cakes but I'll check out the shrimp.
Then again, I live in Florida... might be local Vietnamese fishermen selling their daily catch. The large shrimp sells for $4.99 a pound - medium for 3.99.
Is that Vietnamese grocery store in Margate by any chance? That is the one I go to.
No, not in Margate - hope yours has shrimp - it’s a sweet deal.
But I like doing that and many times I’m better at it than they are since I’ve been doing it so long. :)
Save a Lot for canned goods ( all quality national brands with Save a Lot labels).
Vietnamese grocery stores for seafood and pork.
Walmart for TV’s, coffee, butter, eggs, pasta, rice, pool chemicals, etc.
Farmers’ markets for produce...
OH YEAH they still do it PJ they still do it I go to Ralphs every other week they sell Bigelow tea at this Ralph I go to Celestrail Seasoning throat tamers
Actually there new Ralph program that you could earn point and you get rewards every quarters really good
You could earn the savings
Thanks. They distribute their weekly flyer through mail and have a customer rewards card so it all works out. I’m a single empty nester and groceries really aren’t a big budget buster for me. I feel sorry for young families though.
I saw one of your earlier posts, but I live in Canada, and there are no “buy none, and get 6 free” offers here. ;-)
BTW, my next area of coupon exploration will be in the field of travel. Or rather, discount exploration. For example, I do know that if you book an airlines flight during a busy period like the day before Thanksgiving you stand a good chance of being on an overbooked flight. Therefore just volunteer to get bumped to get a free flight voucher. Also a friend of mine told me of a fascinating way to buy frequent flyer miles to get flight discounts. Exploring all this.
Sure we have coupons.
$25 off a $150 purchase at Staples.
$1 off a $10 face cream at any store.
2 for 1?
Not on your life.
I recently filled in a consumer survey, and was sent some coupons, but nothing like 2 for 1.
Within ten days, the white rice will actually taste REALLY really good, (not kidding) and you'll suddenly discover that all sorts of things that you normally need all the time at the grocery store simply don't have to be purchased very often any more.
DON'T do a whole, we're gonna eat beans & rice, or else rice & beans --- rather, the idea is simply to make sure, while eating 'normally' that you consume TWO CUPS of white rice every single day, (kids get half a cup daily.)
I found this tip on some online frugal website and I thought it was so preposterous, that it was like a DARE, so we tried it, and were surprised that it worked.
