ROSEVILLE, Mich. (AP) -- Hooters is being served with a lawsuit by a former Detroit-area employee who says she was told to agree to lose weight or lose her job. Cassandra Smith says Hooters violated Michigan law when it placed her on 30-day weight probation earlier this month.

While the food was pretty good the girls there were my daughter's age and I just kept averting my eyes. It was just too weird. I felt like you did. I have never been back to one.

I’m sure she’ll have plenty of local and state politicians willing to form a committee to study this situation. It’ll probably take a couple of years and a few million $$$, but they’ll tell us it’s worth it.
