Dear Patriot,

Breaking news: we outraised Barbara Boxer and Tom Campbell in our online fundraising goals for this week's FEC deadline and YOU made it happen.

Now, with the extra funds you helped us raise... we have a surprise.

Watch FOX's final episode of "24" on Monday night.  We have made a state-wide media buy, buying two ads during this historic show highly regarded by conservative voters highlighting the endorsements of serious conservative leaders  Congressman Tom McClintock, Governor Mike Huckabee and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.  (See all the ads here.)

Join us at ChuckDeVore.com Monday night during the show and be the first to Tweet or Facebook when you see the ads.

Also, stay tuned for a special online video release on Monday detailing Chuck's (24) years of military and overseas experience.

With the recent polls showing Chuck's support DOUBLING and with an astounding endorsement from Mark Levin on his radio show, we feel the winds at our backs in this election.

If you haven't already, be sure to order a yard sign so we can get it delivered to you in the next crucial weeks.

Thank you for all you do!

Looks like the money has been flowing. We have to keep the full court press on. The number of undecideds are substantial.

I have seen quite a few pro devore posts here, but have yet to see why people like him? What makes him better than the other two? Is it true he has lied about his service?

Chuck has a record of conservative voting in the state house.

Chuck gave up his leadership position in the state house as a protest to his own party’s tax hikes.

Some other campaign, by a failed executive with a globalist streak, is trying to put words in Chuck’s mouth that he did not say.

He’s the conservative with the conservative record.

No its not true he lied about his service. He has never claimed to have been shot at in a military capacity. It was an LA Times hit piece driven by the Fiorina crew.

Chuck DeVore’s Lebanon Recording

He is better because he stands up for what he believes in and on principle. He isn’t a political work in progress. He isn’t a mealy mouthed politician who strafes issues. Chuck unlike Carly Fiorina doesn’t support taxing the internet and doesn’t believe the immigration debate has a “racist tone” as Carly has. Truthfully Carly is a work in progress, she didn’t really do a great job at HP but did receive a nice golden parachute while thousands of HP employees received pink slips.

Campbell is a Berkley professor and until recently had been a part of the Schwarzenegger administration in the role of Finance Director. He previously served in Congress. He has supported funding UN Population control initiatives. He when running for Governor supported a sizable tax increase to balance the CA budget. He also has refused to sign on to Health Care repeal, and will not sign the no new taxs pledge. He also spoke out against Prop 8 defining marriage between a man and a woman and receives a 100% rating from pro abortion groups. He also votes with the ACLU 69% of the time. Also Tom Campbell has received an ‘F’ grade from the NRA meaning he almost never supports the Second Amendment.

Carly has no record

Hmmm......Well, let me try and be polite here and give you a genuine answer as I see it.

Chuck DeVore and Carly Fiorina both claim to be rather Conservative candidates. On Paper, there is little (though definitely some) disagreement between them - both enjoy the support of many Conservative groups (The Susan B. Anthony List, NRA, NRTL, etc.), and both tout some impressive Conservative support (Devore with McClintock, Dana Rohrabacher, etc.; Fiorina with Inhofe, Palin, Kyl, and Coburn, etc.).

The difference here is that DeVore has a long track record of demonstrated Conservatism. We can point to his votes, speeches, and record going back for some time now. He has been, and still is, a Conservative of record.

Fiorina talks the talk - now. What raises alarms most is that she has previously offered some considerably non-Conservative views on Abortion, Immigration, et al, and even was willing to openly cast doubt upon Sarah Palin, the Conservative GOP VP pick, while the Presidential race was still afoot. She has also made statements to lead one to believe she is not adequately opposed to modern fiscal Statism enough to bring a Conservative comfort in supporting her - certainly not as long as a Chuck DeVore is still in the running.

Fiorina has undergone more than one conversion in recent years. It may well be that she has become a genuine convert on said issues, only she knows for sure; but there is no record to point to to demonstrate such new-found loyalty, so we are basically asked to take her strictly at her word. This is a difficult pill to swallow when even at FR you can watch video of a very different Carly Fiorina than we see today. It is a pill that need not be swallowed at all - yet - because there is candidate still in the race whose record shows us no need for blind faith - Chuck DeVore.

As far as the “lied about his service” nonsense, don't believe the hype. A quick search at FR will show you that said rumor was adequately debunked - even with actual audio recordings as evidence - just moments after the Times printed the smear.

Chuck DeVore deserves our support in this race. As far as Fiorina goes, ask folks about supporting her after the nomination is settled. Right now there is a better option; hopefully that option will be available even three months from now.
