It was in my county library. I knew he was a radio host, but didn't know he'd written a book until I saw it on the shelf.
I thought B5 had some excellent actors and some clunky ones, but the story was very involving. How could anyone not love Walter Koenig as Bester?
Thank you for the information. I’m heading out to look for that today.
Walter Koenig most definitely, and the story revolving around Peter Jurasik and Andreas Katsulas’ characters was exciting to watch develope.
Londo and G’Kar were brilliant characters. Compare the realistic development of those two to, for example, the static personalities of 11 seasons of “Stargate.”

Fred Grandy & Andy Parks, as well as Chris Plante, appear in the 2010 Talkers magazine Top 250 radio talk show hosts. Congratulations!
Grandy & Andy have since been cancelled, and Grandy is back in early morning drive with Bryan Nehman. Chris Plante is back on 9-Noon.
Yup, not bad, btw last night in the wee hours as I turned the dial, Stephanie Miller was on WWZN 1510 Boston, the station where someone has to buy time to run libtalk. She was saying the conservative talk was on 90 per cent of the stations “while we only have 10 per cent” and of those, many were
weaker (”even though on the stations we are on we beat conservative hosts in the ratings for our slot”). Yeah right.
I’m sure “fairness doctrine” would be the next thing she’d argue for.
If libtalk were to really be that good, the program directors of WTKK, WRKO, and WBZ would run these shows;
Clear Channel would have dubbed WXKS 1200 “Stephanie Radio”
not “Rush Radio”, etc. I smile when I think of how the station that used to run libtalk on that freq now has Jeff Katz; G Beck, Rush, Hannity, Levin, etc. Schadenfreude!
Cool! Can we link to it (assuming it's online)?
Whatever happened to Larry Elder?
He made the latest cover of "Living Dead Quarterly" and they had to acquiesce.
The snake has shed its skin. But it's still a snake.
Good observation!
Whether he has graduate degrees or not, I'm a big fan also. Dennis is hard to beat for “depth of analysis” when it comes to understanding the leftwing mindset. Moreover, his breadth of knowledge in areas like classical music is most impressive.
Prager ought to be much better known and more widely broadcast. He obviously suffers in the ratings due to his being carried in most markets at the same time as Rush. It also hurts that Salem is usually on 2nd-rate AM stations, which often have very poor signals.
(Witness Salem's new affiliate in the Wash DC area, AM 1260, which is virtually inaudible in parts of northern Virginia just a few miles from the transmitter site.)
I regularly switch over to Dennis when EIB substitutes a nobody like Mark Davis for Rush — or when Rush gets stuck too long on a repetitious refrain, often just echoing things I'd already learned from FR a few hours earlier!
Jason Lewis, Mike McConnell on weekends.
DAchtuh Lauraugh ahead of the great one waaahhhhhaaa!!!
LOL -- I guess you could quantify the 25% of population that is liberal as "Living Dead".
PS -- I went from FORTRAN to Coffee.
Article linked above.
If that doesn’t work, Google “2010 Talkers Heavy Hundred”.
Plante, Grandy & Andy appear at the bottom — in the 101-250 List.
I’ve already e-mailed said list to them, and to Nehman.
Jerry Doyle broadcasts out of Las Vegas and, yes, he’s excellent. Has a great voice for radio.
Excellent.
He is the king of show prep, and he is not talking about what all the others are talking about on any given day.
You can listen 3 to 6 pm est, on KDWN Las Vegas.
Do they have streaming audio?
