Conservatives need to get conserving our resources by taking immediate action now. We should no allow France to be seen as the leader in safe use of nuclear technology. We would save billions in oil, resources, wetlands, and prevention of food spoilage if we would implement proven nuclear technology now. Its only a matter of time before its clear to everyone that this is the cheapest and best option.

IBTZ?
Viking Kitties?
Seriously, this would be a stupid well to try to “seal by nuke.” Too close to land.

This should not be attempted.
It will be a catastrophic miscalculation.
For one thing, it will release Godzilla.
And for another, it won't kill enough hippies.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Just stick Obamas head in there or Michelle feet...that’ll stop it...both are big enough.

Nuke the BP oil spill drill hole, it will seal it just as the Russians have done at 9 other sites...or it will rupture the reservoir and caprock, like a super=frac, and then there will be numerous uncontrolled and uncontrollable seeps in the floor of the Gulf until the reservoir depletes, instead of one 10 inch pipe.
Keep your skivvies on.
The blowout in '79 took nine months to get under control and the gulf recovered. If anything, a relief well can be drilled in 1/3 or less time than that took, and the well sealed by more conventional means, without radiation.
The Russians had a couple that did not work, iirc. Maybe you should talk about those.

I’d rather nuke Washington and get the feds and media out of the way of the experts.

seems like there are about 43000 miles of pipelines and roughly 3,700 oil rigs in the vicinity of the leak. I wonder how all of that would react to a nuclear explosion?

You want to nuke the largest natural gas deposit in the world? It stretches from Texas to New York... You think it might ignite with a nuke? Maybe you have not studied the solution you are offering.
