just had a Fuente Cubanito. Whenever I smoke them I think of Eastwood movies when he is wearing a poncho and enjoying the last few hits from his small cigar.

I have a lot of respect for what Rocky accomplished in a short amount of time, especially considering he was up against an entrenched Latin culture that has a very different way of doing business, I read in an article, where Rocky described the cigar business akin to a mafia-controlled business that doesn’t take kindly to outsiders entering their space. But he did it by making an exceptional smoke, marketing it well and spending an enormous amount of time on the road in small cigar shops meeting his customers and promoting his great smokes. I briefly met him once at such an event and agree with you that he is a great guy.

I had a decadent night. 2 cigars! A CAO LX2 and a La Flor Domininca Coronado. Plus a few cups of Bushmills. The Coronado was delicious. Great thread!

For no reason whatsoever, I had a Mayorga maduro torpedo tonight. i hadn’t had a cigar in quite a while. It was a tasty cigar. Coffee and chocolate flavors mostly; occasionally a bit of red wine. A spicy finish.

Arturo Fuente Rothschild Maduro is my regular smoke. If I buy online I can still get a box for around $80. NYS taxes make it hard to buy locally.

For special treat I like Gloria Cubana Series R Maduro #5.

I went to a cigar dinner last week and got a five-pack of Romeo y Julietas from the Tobacco Outlet's cigar rep. The company is Altadis U.S.A.

I preferred macanudos, though I recently took up pipe smoking...Requires a little more setup time than cigars but a satisfying smoke nonetheless.
