My little maltepoo had a thing for toilet paper and tissue for the first two years of his life( he’s 5 now). In fact, before I bought him the vet check brought out what I thought was a giant worm, but was, in fact, tp. I think it was because the woman I bought him from kept him locked in the bathroom for the first 3 months of his life- and probably didn’t feed him well either.
After-during the teething phase- he ate ALL of my leather shoes. Every one, just heels and soles left. Wouldn’t touch tennis shoes tho.
He doesn’t chew anything now- won’t even eat milkbones , but sometimes he’ll take off with TP and shred it all over the house. Looks like a snowstorm.

When I first rescued my Belgian Terv, he had pretty bad separation anxiety, and while he wouldn't "eat" stuff, he'd certainly give it a good chewing. Ovr time I lost a remote control and a cell phone, but the worst was when he decided to indulge himself on a plastic bottle of olive-green leather dye.

His tongue has since returned to pink...
