Some people have discovered Islamic words and phrases encoded inside Google maps. For some strange reason someone has put Islamic words within the zoom of Google maps. Even stranger, some are found in very rural areas of America.

Thanks. I’ll go have a look.
Well, if he’s right (and I don’t have the language knowledge to know), then this is a tempest in a tea pot so to speak. I will say that I don’t like them wanting to know any area of the U.S. well enough to give it an Arabic translated name, though it’s a far cry from a secret message. Thanks for noticing that.
If you page back real fast, you'll get an Arabic message that says "Paul is dead"...............
...but he’s alive!
Those are safe house locations for terrorist border-crossers.
No arabic lettering to be found on mine. And I zoomed in on the spot shown in the pix.
Weird.
Can you think of any legitimate reason for it to happen that way?
This was covered a couple of weeks ago in Free Republic.
Yes, Arab words appear on Google maps when zooming in/out. The FBI has been aware of this for quite some time.
I don’t have any further information to relate.
That’s interesting. I live in a semi-rural area of Florida (well, I live on the coast, but you go 20 minutes inland and it’s extremely rural) and there are little mosques all over the place out there, even though there are no Muslims. They have bought up unused rural churches and put up signs turning them into “mosques.”
Also, Jacksonville has a huge mosque built right next to the highway. I wonder if these Arabic words indicate the location of mosques?
They’re taking us over and we’re just sleeping through it.
>>were just sleeping
When the muezzin’s call to prayer at dawn blares through loudspeakers, we’ll wake up, maybe, lol!
Zoom out....you’ll see it. If you zoom in, it disappears.
Probably. It’s going to be a little late, I’m afraid. So I guess we should start planning for our Reconquista now. It took the Spanish 800 years, but they got the Muslims out. Hopefully, we’ll be faster!
I just tried it with Anchorage TX. It is there on the first screen image.
Weird.
Using the link in post #20, I could see it very clearly using Firefox. Perhaps this effect is browser-dependent.
Thanks for the information.
You’re welcome.
Looks like mystery solved. Thanks. It is still weird that it happens at one zoom level consistently and Google hasn’t fixed it by now.
