"I am not aware of any birth certificate records that have been destroyed by the department," Janice Okubo, public information officer for the Hawaii DOH, told WND. "When the department went electronic in 2001, vital records, whether in paper form or any other form, [were] maintained. We don't destroy records."
Okubo affirmed that beginning in 2001, all vital records, including birth records, moved to electronic formats.
"Any records that we had in paper or any other form before 2001 are still in file within the department," she insisted. "We have not destroyed any vital statistics records that we have."
Doesn't matter if the state CLAIMS they are destroyed, (A)A Hawaiian official CLAIMS to have seen Obama's long form cert. and says "trust me". (B) Barack Obama himself claimed to have held a copy (he mentions it in his book while discussing going through some old papers).
Hawaiian officials are stonewalling.
If you looked at them closely, you'd see they were obtained in 1966, most likely for when the twins, and The One, would have needed them for entry into kindergarten. (It's so much more important to prove you are who and what you say you are when starting kindergarten, than when taking on the job as "man with his finger on the nuclear trigger")
The story has Mrs. Nordyke reciting the certificate numbers, as if she had them all memorized ... even Obama’s, which is inexplicably higher than her daughters’. The paper quotes her as saying that she must have gone into labor before Obama’s mama so her daughters got earlier certificate numbers. This isn’t how it’s done. They don’t give out certificate numbers before babies are born ... obviously because they don’t know if they’ll have a live birth or not. Babies that are stillborn would get a death certificate, with a completely different numbering system ... plus the numbers are given out by the state when the completed certificates are filed with the registrar. Obama’s was filed three days before the Nordyke certificates, so there’s no way he can have a higher number than they do.
“If someone can contact her while she is still coherent (she is now 82 ! ) and inquire as to when she obtained these birth certificates, it would contradict the State if HI’s new claim that all of the original records were destroyed !”
What would it be needed to contact anyone to find out when they were issued? It is stated right on the documents that they were issued 5-5-1966.
Also when WND first posted this story last year, it was stated that Mrs. Nordike never claimed that she had any personal knowledge about Obama’s birth.
No doubt Hawaii did destroy documents, although they now claim they didn’t. Look at Okubo’s statement, “We have not destroyed any vital statistics records that we have.” Any idiot would understand that you couldn’t have destroyed records, if you still have them. However, she didn’t say they didn’t destroy any records, did she? It is this kind of dishonest double talk from the HDOH which offers more questions than answers.
