If a female American citizen has a baby in the U.S., does that make the child an American citizen?

The point is not whether he’s a citizen (although even that’s in doubt) but whether he’s what is required to be President - a natural born citizen. And, quite clearly, on this definition he’s not. It requires someone to be born in the U.S.A. of U.S. citizen parents. Quite patently Obama fails this test. The birth certificate is irrelevant in this regard.

I live in Australia and used to think that this requirement, falling as it does on someone’s background something they have no control over, was unfair and unreasonable. I’ve now changed my mind.

In any case, its not what anyone thinks of it, its what it is unless and until its changed and HE FAILS THE TEST.

Today it does. At the time obama was born the laws were ever so slightly more strict.

Yes, but unless the father is also a citizen, not a natural born one.

Not necessarily.

And Natural born Citizen is a term that is in fact documented by the founder David Ramsay. The constitution has never been amended to change the requirement. Obama is not qualified. Never has been.

Is he a valid US citizen? Maybe, maybe not. He will never provide his birth documents to substantiate the claim either way.

We have not yet elected our first constitutionally qualified African American President. A foreign national sits in our highest office. The stain of his alien citizenship presidency will probably be removed after one term. The feeling of mutual contempt between Obama and the American people will only grow.

Depends:

A person born on or after November 14, 1986, is a U.S. citizen if all of the following are true:[7]

One of the person’s parents was a U.S. citizen when the person in question was born
The citizen parent lived at least five years in the United States before the child’s birth
A minimum of two of these five years in the United States were after the citizen parent’s 14th birthday.

Actually even the liberal Justice Ginsberg has ruled in cases that citizenship is conveyed by the father not the mother.

Also the term is Natural Born Citizen, Obama is an US Citizen (maybe) but do to the fact that his father was a British subject and not a US citizen it is completely impossible for Obama to qualify as a natural born citizen as required in the US Constitution.

That is the entire point, did you ever notice they dodge that big time and always deflect to the secondary issues (i.e. birth certificate, hospital in Hawaii, etc). None of that matters he can’t be a natural born citizen and therefore he can’t be eligible to be POTUS. But of course that is how the Progressive rolls...they violate the law, get away with it, set precedent, thus nullifying the law based on case law. That is why they want the US to decide legal cases based on international case law.

TOTAL BS and very few people understand exactly what is at stake here.

Just like the GM bail-out, it has nothing to do with GM getting money or paying it back, etc...it has all to do with the subversion of the secure bond holders, they were trashed and lost their shirts thus the core of ALL contract law in the US was shattered and yet another precedent set allowing ALL politicians to completely abandon any signed contracts, etc...

They are destroying our free country, moving from individual freedom to collective freedom and it is going to suck best to get your family ready - it’s coming and now election is going to change the path we are on.
