I'd love to be able to tell you in precise detail what it is that I so thoroughly loathe about Sex And The City.
But to do that, I'd have to sit down and watch it - and frankly I'd rather be dipped in honey, dangled upside-down from a tree and eaten alive by fire ants.

Well gay males. Now 'The L Word', that was written by straight males, because it definitely was the male fantasy of lesbos, certainly not the reality.

It’s got delicious satire and a witty script, the scenery is magnificent from the previews, and the clothes are fabulous, darling. Plus Aidan is back.

I think I tried watching one episode that I could not make it through. It has the one dimensionality of a porn movie except without the pictures. It’s basically, “let’s talk smut”.

You should watch “Live Nude Girls” just for the one scene with Cattrall in a teddy when the pizza guy comes to the door. It’s a horrible chick flick but that one scene makes it all worth it if you like Cattrall at all.

I don’t want to be a cage fighter, pro ball player, pro football player, pro golfer, but based on my viewing habits you’d think that’s what I was all about.
Sarah is definitely not aging real well (in that unretouched photo).
The fact is women are not like men, they are not equipped emotionally to be promiscuous. Modesty in women developed as a survival mechanism, and is still too engrained in our genetic makeup to be a non-factor.
A man, generally speaking, doesn't give a hoot if the one he bedded last night isn't interested in calling him back, for women it is existentially important.
The show also scripts way too much potty mouth, another (false) way of implying that women can be just like men.

I watched one episode. They should have just cut to the chase and called it “Sluts R Us in the City”. I’d rather eat a bar of soap while having a bikini wax than watch it again.

Certainly the characters deserve some castigation, the characters are crude and unsophisticated.
The redhead is particularly offensive; my dog has better table manners.
