The generation that is alive when the fig tree blossoms will not die before seeing the coming of the Lord. The fig tree is Israel. It bloomed in 1948. I was that generation. I'm ever hopeful, continually praying for His return. Obama is not the Antichrist, he's part of the advance team.

Mankind has been predicting Jesus second coming since his death. We are in the end times, but the end times could culminate a long time from now.

In the 1960s and 1970s, the Jehovah's Witnesses liked to predict the end of the earth. It may have been in 1972 that my younger sister's friend (a JW) told her the world was ending soon. My sister disrupted dinner with her worries a few days in a row. Finally my mom told her, "Since the world is coming to an end, your friend will not need her toys. Ask her if you can have them. If she gives you her toys, than she truly believes the world is ending."

The next day my sister came home with a big smile on her face and said, "KC would not give me her toys." Mealtime back to normal, at least temporarily....

Jesus said he was finishing his Father's work, in context of the Kingdom of Heaven. When that work is done, I expect this world to conclude. That could be very soon, but I also expect 2013 to follow 2012. If this is the very end, things will start getting very bad. If that time had not been cut short, no man would survive. That makes me think things are going to get pretty rough.

Exactly what does “alive” mean, I was born in 44 so I was alive in 48 but so were my parents who are both dead now.

Yeah, we can’t know the date. But the Lord did say something along the lines of “You FOOLS. You can see the signs of the skies and know what the weather is going to be. Why can you not see the signs of the times?”

What difference does that make, really? A lot better men than you have passed since Our Lord made that promise, without seeing it. Blessed are those who believe because they saw signs but even more blessed are they who saw no signs and believed.

Right. If WWII wasn’t the end of days, if the holocaust wasn’t the end of days, who knows how bad things are going to get?

What I believe now, though, is that WWII was a pushing back of a tide of evil, of a new barbarianism, that we aren’t able to hold back now. The devil is loosed upon the world, cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. And all that jazz.

2012 scam is pure hocus pokus bogus to any one who has even an elementary understanding of history..... The hype is totally out of the “New Age” groupies and other groupies who have wrapped themselves in it......... The internet is a cheap way to spread this quackery and plenty people out there who fill the voids in their life by believing it. Few if any are interested in the facts, rather they go link to link of those promoting it and call it research. It’s all Hogwash!.......There is big money to be made by those pushing this crap....seminars, books, speaking engagements and they are laughing all the way to the bank.
