Another worn-out lie

i noticed on the news again that in Chicago they were having a gun turn-in "to prevent violence"

how worn-out is this lie?

yeah, I'm sure all the local thugs could hardly wait to hand in their hardware

in the meantime if someone busts your door in or jums in front of your car grab your cell phone! that's why we have 911. you can dial that before they get to you. ya think?

Actually, turning in trigger fingers would do more to prevent violence than turning in old guns.

I might be wrong, but the potential for “return fire” sounds like a pretty good deterrent to me.

An analysis of who is shooting, and who is getting shot might be in order as well. When someone that is “innocent” gets involved in these shootings it is news. Not because it is common, but because it is not.

The cops know this.

They are only afraid of guns getting stolen from the good guys, and sold to be bad guys.

In the front door , out the back.

Cops will keep or sell the best of them.
