My old GF insisted on tying up our 2 cats.
They did not like that at all.

The only intelligent thing that I could think of to do when that cat went ballistic is to let go of the leash, follow him, and hope he calms down.
Once cats go into full battle mode, you are in deep kimchee.

Cat never been on a leash before freaks. Yawn. Tell us something we don’t know.
And being able to hold a cat for hours does not predict how it will react when your adrenalin goes up because the camera goes on. Your stage fright will make the cat crazy every time unless it’s familiarized with such situations.
