DANVERS, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts church is scheduled to launch a new monthly worship service — for dogs. Calvary Episcopal Church will offer later this month its first "Perfect Paws Pet Ministry" aimed at giving area pooches and their owners improved odds at getting canines into heaven. The Danvers church plans to hold the service on the third Sunday of every month, complete with communion for the humans and special blessings for pets. Dogs will get special treats.

Church officials said well-mannered, leashed dogs are invited. People can submit a paper prayer if their pets are sick, not good around other dogs or deceased. Prayers can also be offered for other types of pets.

Rev. Thea Keith-Lucas told The Salem News dogs will have a say during service because barking won't be banned.

It isn't a belief that Dogs go to Heaven, it is a promise. Father, in His Holy word informs us that all he created returns to Him. I'd rather be in Heaven with Billions of animals, than some people I know here on earth.

I am not familiar with that passage. Can you give a reference?

Ecc. 12:7, but more importantly Isaiah 12:6-9 which says "The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together: and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down togeth: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy moutain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."

The exact one I'm looking for about all things He created returning to Him, I'm still trying to find, and I will sometime between home working, and work working ;)

But the main point is this...If He has a place for all those mentioned in Isaiah, some who will rip you to screds in the hear and now, how could He not have a place for that which loves, even the very ones who beat, starve, and kill their kind?

No, no one except Father will ever make me believe that dog's are not welcome in Church, nor His Holy presence. After all Jesus Christ didn't preach too much in buildings...He preached in fields.

know what? I traveled one hour to go to church. Church service was two hours. That means I would have been away from home about four hours. I took my dog to church with me. At first I left him in the car, making sure that he was well taken care of, in the shade and plenty of water etc. Every once in a while I'd sneak away from church to check on him. Another lady who traveled far, also brought her dog. When the pastor found out about this, he invited the dogs in for the service. These dogs were on their BEST behavior. It's as if they knew where they were and why they were there. Absolutely amazing.

The "creatures" knew when they were in the presence their Master and Creator.

Isaiah 12:6-9

"...all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord..."

Isaiah 65:17
"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.

Isaiah 66:22
"For just as the new heavens and the new earthWhich I make will endure before Me," declares the LORD,"So your offspring and your name will endure.

2 Peter 3:13
But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells

Revelation 21:1
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.
